This new MkII version of Nathan East’s five-string signature BB bass is a tour-de-force of premium features including sculpted slimline body, through-neck and onboard NE-1 three-band EQ system.

The BB NE2’s amazing sound capabilities lie with active electronics incorporating an onboard version of Nathan East’s NE-1 parametric equaliser. In addition to a master volume and pickup balancer, the two powerful Alnico V stack humbuckers are controlled by a three-band EQ. Further tonal scope comes from a variable mid cut-off frequency with its own on/off switch.

And what a beautiful yet practical bass the NE2 is. The body’s newly sculpted lines give full access to the two-octave through-neck, whose ebony fingerboard is sumptuously adorned with pearl block markers. The bridge system, meanwhile, comprises individual brass assemblies for each string, enhancing tone and sustain right across the playing spectrum. 

5-Control Active Electronics System
Our 5-Control Active Electronics System features a custom 3-band EQ for extensive tonal versatility. The system`s mid-range control has user settable settings for quick, repeatable preset settings. The system is also equipped with a mid cutoff frequency and ON/OFF switch for additional sound tailoring.

The NE-1 is based on the same magic box that the famed bassist Nathan East has been using to obtain his special sound for years. Desingned in cooperation with Nathan, the NE-1 is an easy to use parametric equalizer offering added sound tailoring to obtain the sound you`ve been searching for.
